Atmospheric air naturally contains impurities, such as dust, hydrocarbons and humidity. Once compressed, these are delivered to the line with eventually oily particles.

These polluting agents, interacting among each other, may generate abrasive and corrosive emulsions. In turn, such emulsions may be able to damage the distribution lines, pneumatic devices and the product itself.
